Background

The Coalition for Clean Air works to restore
California's most precious natural resource: the air we breathe!

1982-Clean-Air-Can-AwardCCA’s 1982 Clean Air Can AwardIn 1970, a small group of concerned citizens started gathering on Saturday mornings to discuss the future of Southern California's air quality and the overall state of the environment. From those meetings, the Coalition for Clean Air (CCA) was born. Today, CCA is a statewide nonprofit organization—with offices in Los Angeles, Sacramento and Fresno—advocating for air quality throughout California.

MISSION

The Coalition for Clean Air is committed to restoring clean, healthy air to all of California and strengthening the environmental movement by promoting broad-based community involvement, advocating responsible public policy and providing technical expertise.
