In 1971, a small group of concerned citizens gathered on Saturday mornings to discuss the future of Southern California’s air quality. From those meetings, the Coalition for Clean Air (CCA) was born.
Now with offices in Los Angeles, Fresno and Sacramento, CCA works to restore California’s air quality through advocacy, education and outreach. From spearheading the original Smog Check program to ensuring the passage of landmark global warming laws, we have helped position California as a world leader in improving air quality.
CCA works to restore California's most precious natural resource: the air we breathe!
