Driving Tougher Fuel Standards

Between January 24 and 27, advocates from across the state will testify at two hearings that will have a defining impact on the kinds of cars Americans drive in the next two decades. The topics are fuel economy, emissions, future automotive technology and fuels. The hearings are for separate but related regulatory proceedings, one federal, one state, and will be held in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
