Celebrating Clean Trucks at the Ports
The Clean Trucks Program, already a success since its 2008 rollout at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, reached its final implementation deadline on Jan. 1, when the last few trucks that had special exemptions were taken off the road.
Railyard Plan Threatens Port Community
Air advocates and two council members oppose a $500 million railyard to be located at the Port of Los Angeles and "just a few hundred feet from where families live and kids go to school," said CCA's Luis Cabrales.
